Our 3rd Annual Spring Busker Festival is just around the corner, April 18th & 19th. We here at Seaport are excited! Just this week we finalized what acts will be competing and when. There are 2 performance stages- City Beat Plaza East & City Beat Plaza West. In the East acts perform every hour on the half hour. In the West acts perform every hour at the top of the hour. We want to be fair to our performers so we have an elaborate process for choosing them- from a hat! And just to prove how fair we really are… we videotaped the whole thing. Sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy!

Just in case that went a little too fast for you here is the line up!

Saturday- April 18

CityBeat Plaza West:
12 p Jr. Crew (similar to STOMP)
1 p Mango & Dango (acrobatic duo)
2 p Sleeveless Sloan (magician)

4 p Steam Powered Giraffe (mime and music combined)

Interested in the acts yet? Well, I will be featuring each of them here on the blog starting April 1st. Every day up until the festival I will post an inside tidbit on the festival. So come on back! There will be videos, pictures, fun facts. Yup, lots of fun. I am so excited about the festival this year! Wahooooo!

Counting down the days,
Boardwalk Betty

Hey there local artists! I love your enthusiasm for our festival but we won’t be having outside vendors displaying at the event. Mainly because we don’t want to detract from all the great shops that Seaport Village does have. We want our visitors to check them out!

I hope you will still be able to make it down to check out the festivities.

I am a Southern California artist/jewelry designer. All of my jewelry is made using the finest sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, cultured pearls, beach glass and glass beads.

I am interested in exhibiting my work in your Spring Busker Festival April 18th.

Could you please send me information regarding any openings to display/sell my work.

Thank you so much

I have a small business and do art shows and flea markets in a 10 × 10 Canopy. I sell cartoon type art and sci fi work. My canvas is t-shirts. I classify it as mobile art. Colorful, funny and a touch of political. Been an artists since the 60’s. Who do I talk to so I can get some space to have some fun with this festival. Have all of my work available to see. Email is easy. Thanks
