Let's get down to business San Diego. It's November 12th and all I can do is think about Surfin' Santa. Actually, his arrival into Seaport Village to be exact. In case you have not heard, he is arriving the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28th at 1 pm.

"Hi guys... just sitting here on the Carousel waiting to see ya." -Santa Claus
Seaport Village is notorious for using our bay-front location to bring Santa in via watercraft. It's always a huge hit. This year is guaranteed to be his most grand entrance. He is coming in via The Californian. Click on that link, you can read about how awesome the ship is. And it really is, AWESOME.
Okay, I am getting ahead of myself. The point of this post is that there is going to be SO MUCH going on during his arrival day that I cannot put it all into one blog. SO. I have decided to do many blogs each one focusing on a different aspect of the festivities. Sounds like a good plan, no? That is what I thought...
So here is what you have to look forward to... More info on the following:
- SDG&E LED Light Exchange
- Ornament Making with The Birch Aquarium at Scripps
- Story time with Jeff Garcia
- Santa and his life size wave
- "Green" holiday tree lighting
- The Californian, pirate battle
- Face painting, holiday tunes and more!
Surfin' Santa Arrival blogging commences tomorrow so keep checking back every day. You will get tips and pictures and enough hype to get you into the holiday spirit!
