Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is quickly approaching! You heard me right, FREE. March 23rd from 10 am – 9 pm Seaport Village’s two locations will be scooping free ice cream.
The good people at Ben & Jerry’s have a free cone day annually to help benefit a charity. This year they have chosen National Foundation for Autism Research (NFAR). Not only will all proceeds from Free Cone Day go to NFAR but the Seaport Village Ben & Jerry’s staff have put together a team for the 2010 San Diego Race for Autism. And you are welcome to join their team!
As if free ice cream and a good cause wasn’t enough to persuade you to come down there will also be celebrity scoopers dishing out your cones. At 10:30 am Mayor Jerry Sander’s will be scooping Triple Caramel Chunk, if that is your flavor! Bill Walton, former NBA player and current sportscaster will be scooping as well.
A good time is guaranteed for all. Get as many scoops as you want, all day long.
